I got this refrigerator second-hand, so I don't know about its performance and reliability in its younger days. It was manufactured in January 2001, so it is now 15 years old. The refrigerator cools well, and the freezer freezes well. I don't use the ice maker, so I can't comment on its function. The problem I am having is that the bottom refrigerator shelf is slightly too narrow at the front for the molded-in side supports, so the shelf ends up with support on only one side. As a result, the shelf is bowed, which is annoying and possibly dangerous since it is a glass shelf, but the real problem is that because of this, the two drawers that attach to the shelf won't stay on their tracks and have to be very forcefully pulled open and shoved closed when used.
