gas ignitor keeps sparking

6 years no gas ignitor keeps sparking

My problem is the element in the larger oven. Basically, my family and I love the smaller oven and rarely used the bigger oven. Last Thanksgiving it took 2 days for the Thanksgiving turkey to cook. The temperature was set at 375 and the heating element never sent the oven's heat above 225 degrees. I realized the element was not heating after looking at the smaller oven and observed the heating element turned red unlike the lower oven. At this time the problem has not been resolved because I cannot afford the repair price.
