Kenmore standard dishwasher model 665.13492K600

I took the float switch assembly out thinking I could maybe clean it cuz my dishwasher doesnâ€™t clean my dishes well..when I put it back there is no water coming into the dishwasher..

Do you own this unit? Please describe repair issue you are having.
