problem with kenmore dishwasher 665.16053400

The dishwasher control button are intermittent. Sometime they work sometime they do not. When it is unplug for a day then plugged in, they will work for one cycle then you unplug it again for another day. It seams that the circuit board has to reset. I can play around with the buttons sometime and get it to work but usually it's back to unplugging it. Any help would be appreciated.
