Amana side by side refridgerator

I have had this unit since 1996 when I bought it new from Montgomery Wards,(now there's a name you haven't heard in awhile. I had a maintenenace agreement with them and when they went out of business, Sears picked it up. shortly after my ice maker went out. Sears repaired it on my agreement. A little later a relay (or something) went out and my freezer stopped working. Again it was fixed by Sears. Then I started having trouble with Sears making my yearly checkup appointments (cancelled 5 times in a row), so I let the agreement drop. The unit had been working great until about 8 months ago. Then I noticed the flap on the ice delivery would not close automatically. That I could live with. But a couple of days ago I noticed the water delivery was not shutting off all the way. It is now to where I have to shut off the water to keep it from leaking. My refridgerator is still workling great and if I have to do without ice and water for awhile, I can live with that too, I will eventually fix it.
