You DON'T get what you pay for!

I maintain two of these VERY expensive units. The pro is they are deadly quite. But despite numerous repair attempts they don't want to stay latched shut, and when they dI have operated and maintained these unit for 8 years. The flat-spring latch is designed to fail. Simply replacing it with a new one should fix it, but it won't. It takes numerous tweaks with a pliers to make it work. It stops latching within a short period of time. To keep them from popping open in mid-cycle we push a small wedge under the counter top. It works, but this is an $1800 machine! Now we are having problems getting them to start. After 3 or 4 tries they usually start. But now we have the infamous "blinking error light". Arrg. I'm sick of this. What a disappointment. Yes we have quiet machines, but they are even more quiet when they WON'T RUN!o they don't want to start.
